TRAVEL GRANTS
ESID is offering 10 travel grants for ESID Junior members who wish to attend the Florence Biennial Meeting this year!
DESCRIPTION: Each travel grant is aimed to help covering awardees travel expenses and registration fees. Each grant will not exceed the total amount of EUR 1’000.-
APPLICATION: To be eligible for a travel grant you must:
• you must be under 35 but age will not be an absolute limit
• submit at least one abstract to the meeting
• be an active ESID Junior member 2012/2013
Each application should include: - Your curriculum vitae and a short list of publications and / or meeting presentations
- Statement of career goals with about 500 words also explaining how attending the ESID Biennial Meeting will benefit you now and in the future
- A letter of support from your Head of Department or similar
- A copy of the abstract submitted to the congress
To apply please complete the downloadable application form below and send it to the ESID Administrative Office by email under esid.admin@kenes.com
DEADLINE: The selection process will take place after June 15, 2012.
The 10 successful applicants will be selected based on the quality of their applications and abstracts.
Moreover, at least one third of these travel grants will be awarded to applicants coming from less developed regions of the world.
