The ESID Prague Spring Meeting in 2012 is going to take place from May 14th to 15th in Prague, Czech Republic.
This traditional event enters it's 11th year and your participation and active contribution to the programme is welcomed.
Dear all,
it is our pleasure to announce the 11th ESID Prague Spring Meeting that is going to be held in Prague May 14 -15, 2012.
The meeting is organised under the auspices of the Department of Immunology of the 2nd Medical School, Charles University and Faculty Hospital Motol
and takes place in Olympus Headquarters, Prague 6.
It is a very active, flexible and friendly meeting, interactive and small. Each participant is expected to present a short talk on a project he/she is currently involved in, results of previous research or an interesting case report (5-20 min talk). We can accept non-presenting participants only as an exception!
After ten years of successful meetings we have decided to continue in organizing of this traditional event although this year there will be another one of very same format organised by ESID Juniors in Freiburg. That is why we plan our meeting to be orientated more clinically and we set up as key themes of this year innate immunity, therapy and transplantation in PID and SCID screening. There will be also enough space to discuss any topic related to PID and we hope that it will be in quite an informal way as we experienced during the ten previous workshops.
Teresa Español from Spain, Viviana Moschese from Italy, Carsten Speckmann from Germany and Andy Genery from UK promised to come as the invited speakers and faculty, expected is also Kaan Boztugfrom Austria, - we wait for his confirmation. So there will be a great opportunity to get the answer to many our questions concerning PID!
Of course, we would like to provide a space for presentations of members of ESID Juniors working party and young colleagues – graduates of medical schools or medical students willing to pursue their career in immunology, who are looking for early experiences and possible also seeking PhD positions. You all are welcomed to learn and share the knowledge!

The preliminary programme and all the available presentations and material of previous meetings and also this year’s meeting will be placed at this webpage.
Since there could be only about 35-40 participants, the applications will be accepted on the first-come-first-served basis. So, do not hesitate and respond as soon as possible. Please, specify a topic that you would like to share with the audience as the detailed programme will be composed according to the submitted papers.
Submission of short abstract (max 250 words) of the talk is welcome!
