Description:

This session will be hosted by Boris Karanović (Chair of the ESID PID Care in Development Working Party) and Klaus Warnatz (Department of Rheumatology and Clinical Immunology at the University of Freiburg, Germany).
During this session of the Grand Rounds, we will explore the topic, "Gastrointestinal complications in CVID: from pathology to management."
The programme for this session is as follows:

  1. Boris Karanović - presentation of a difficult to treat clinical case of CVID enteropathy.
  2. Klaus Warnatz - Interferon-driven immune dysregulation and Norovirus infection in CVID.
  3. Helen Leavis: Microbial dysbiosis in CVID.
  4. Silje Fjellgård Jørgensen: Metabolic disturbances in CVID: potential relationship to inflammation and gut microbiota.
  5. Georgia Malamut: Differences and similarities between celiac, autoimmune and CVID related enteropathy.
  6. Discussion and Q&A.
