Dear ESID members,

During the ESID Online meeting we had active participation from our Junior members in many of the activities. The Junior Workshop session on Pitfalls in PID was once again confirmed to be an excellent attended session. I want to thank the panel of experts (Fabio Candotti, Silvia Sanchez Ramón and Fabian Hauck) as well as the presenters of the clinical cases. We hope to have it live in Gothenburg 2024, to increase the interaction with the audience even more. We also moved the Junior Talent Award to the Educational Day, and we enjoyed a very nice session with the awardees; Adam Klocperk, Carlos Arango and Fabian Kaiser. Once again, congratulations!!!  Finally, and thanks to the great effort made by Will Bermingham (UK Junior Country Representative), our Junior members could share their interests and thoughts during the Networking Online events during two evenings of the meeting.

We are now facing a year that results in difficulty to predict how things will go. We therefore will focus our efforts in developing learning opportunities that can take place online. The newly elected country representatives and myself will work to find new ideas to push and help on the career development of our Junior members. Together with Educational WP we will work on the organization of webinars and case presentations. We will continue working with the PID in Development WP to expand the learning and research opportunities to Juniors in all countries. And finally, together with the Clinical WP we will count on Junior members to take part into the creation of guidelines for PID care.

Do not forget to join our Facebook ESID Junior's group and to check your emails to stay tuned!

Hope to meet you very soon,

Clara
